I am sure what I went through is nothing like what others expereince in winter on the east coast, however we ion the California desert finally had snow. For 2 days even. Of those 2 days I spend 14 hours in the back seat of a Jeep stuck on highway 15 and then on highway 395. Can you imagine that? I kept thinking I should feel more misserable than I did. But to be honest it seemed much more an adventure. I am sure had it last too much longer the adventure would have lost it's charm.We were grateful to finally reach home. I believe I slept 18 hours straight through.
A few days later, not to many I am sure. I was driving home from an appointment, and I passed by our centeral park. Low and behold there were the snow geese that visit every year I wonder what they thought of the snow still on the ground. I certainly hope it doesnt change their flight plans in the future.
